Insurance: Kittens are insured with Agria for 4 weeks from collection date. I strongly recommend that you continue with an insurance policy.
I will not be held responsible or liable for any veterinarian, complimentary, specialist health care costs or any other costs associated with your kitten/cat. It is your responsibility as the owner of your kitten to ensure you have insurance in place for the l
Cat tree and toys: I've found the RHRQuality cat trees on eBay fantastic quality and value for money. It is also possible to buy parts separately so you do not have to replace the whole tree.
If you join the Pets at Home VIP club, you sometimes get discount vouchers, I think I got 50% off recently.
Food: I feed my cats Royal Canin Maine Coon kibble and Nutriment raw food, chicken is their favourite.
If you change to a different raw food please check it contains Taurine and all the nutrients a kitten/cat needs to grow.
I have also been feeding the mums and babies Royal Canin Mother & Baby Cat Food which they can eat up to 4 months old.
Grooming: I've found the Leo's Paw comb really good and the EMK sports professional comb from Amazon (although this is only really suitable for older cats that like being brushed).
Sleeping: cats like to sleep on our beds, the sofa or probably their favourite place, which is the top of a cat tree.
Litter & litter trays: I use Breeder Celect litter for kittens and Tigerino for my adults (from Zooplus).
I have a litter robot which is great if you have a few cats but very expensive if you only have one.
I also use hooded litter trays, the Trixie Primo XXL Top Cat Litter Box from Zooplus is a good one.
Lastly and of the most importance...you must stay in touch with me. You're not just buying a kitten you are signing up to being my friend for life (I say smiling).
No, in all honesty I'm here to help as much as I can. I don't know everything about cats but I will always try to source the right and best advice/guidance.
I love getting photos and updates.
